My buddy KB introduced me to a new friend, John Tristler who owns Specialty Performance parts, he started Skillmans Roush vehicle division and branched out on his own, still selling vehicles but now makes custom brackets and wiring harnesses (plug and play, no cutting or drilling) he has been doing F150s Raptors etc for quite a while but needed a guinea pig Ranger to make brackets and Wiring harnesses for. He uses a digital scanner to measure for the brackets using oem bolts, made from thick stout stainless steel and powder coated flat black. I made a steel bracket that we mounted 4 relays on, sorry I forgot to snap a Pic before I secured the plastic over it but if needed I can take a Pic. John's working on a custom relay box set up like the F150 Raptor uses. All Rigid lights, rears have red backlights using running light feed, can turn on the white led with a switch in cab (my choice) or tied to reverse lights or both! The pillar spots I chose have amber back lights tied to running lights and the white led is switched in the cab. I also have snap on amber lenses for fog. The 2 led Bars in the lower grill are both floods and switched in the cab. The 4th switch is all wired for amber Rigid rock lights on order. Stay tuned, John is editing the 2 days worth of video we shot and once he posts it on his YouTube channel and website I will add the link here! His attention to detail and engineering for fitment and plug and play wiring is as bad as mine is for wood working! Still waiting on my rims and tires tho... apologies for mixed up pics, I lost this post 3 times while making it and some moved on me.

Looks great Mike! I like the pod lights and the mini light bars next to the ACC and looking forward to seeing the video. Somehow I see this thread costing me money. lol

Thanks Dave! Just when we thought we were safe with a damper, POOF! More goodies!
I've been working at this slowly, saving up my budget, finding things on sale etc
Finally have nice weather to work. New flares, grill etc in the works, wheels haven't shipped from overseas yet so I will keep pushing the wheels and tires back a month and work on smaller projects. ?

are they ever going to finish/change those fender flares?
I still cant get past the look where it meets the front bumper.

Bushwacker has no plans to change or adapt. I had these on my f150 and looked great on it however when I bought my Ranger this style was the only thing made at that time, over time I I've thought there a bit big plus the sudden stop near the bumpers and the gas tank notch... so I ordered a set of there oem style flares, smaller, don't stick out as far and no gas tank lid notch, still awaiting shipment. I will paint them the metallic Grey to match my bumpers before I install them

Awe Shucks Dave ...signed autographs ;). He didn't tell me I was gonna be in it until he said come here and say something! I was like dude, I am in sweats from detailing the truck and i looked like a soup sandwich! At least my gym owner will be happy to get some free press! I shot most of the video of the install process, he will post that eventually.

I drove it through my favorite automatic carwash and the pillar lights never moved when the spinning and swooshing soft touch washing went over the truck, next time i will run it through and pay for the slow spinning chamois cloths to wipe off the water before the exit and report back..

I'd better get my signed autograph now before you're an even bigger star. Might be worth something in a few years. ? ?
