I'm not 100% sure. I haven't even used my brights, except for bright lighting some asshole the other day, on the way to work, that clearly had his brights on... He never dimmed his after my massive LED brights came on, so maybe he become blind after that happened?

I know I can sit in the garage and turn on the dims, then the fogs. Then pull/push the high beams and the fogs stay on. I also noticed the other morning, that I had my fogs on the night before and they came back on with my automatic lights? I'm gonna say they work regardless of how your lights are configured?
Thanks mate. Even staying on after off/on cycle would help. Cheers.

Yesterday was cloudy and felt like 15* all day and today was sunny an 60*, LOL! So, the snow flurries we got stuck in Friday night, left a horrible mess on the truck come Saturday morning, so today, I did a thorough cleaning with Adam's Graphene CS3 and it's so slick to the touch! No pics, sorry, haha!

Oh, I went onto FORScan and did this and actually like it. It could possibly suit the truck too, since there is an ST Explorer and they used to be the SUV version of the Ranger? I'm going to look for a blacked out ST badge now :)

After that, I decided to install my new Diode Dynamics LUXEON LED Fog Light replacements. After about 30 minutes of screwing with the behind the bumper OEM fog light, I found a video that said you had to do this.....
IMG_20220130_163549409.jpg

In order to do this....
IMG_20220130_163557345.jpg

IMG_20220130_163606546.jpg

What a pain in the ass! This bumper is super heavy yall! I honestly wasn't expecting it to be heavy at all, but it got dark before I got the bumper back on, so this is the best pic of the installed lights I have.
IMG_20220130_210759623.jpg

I ordered the Lightforce Switch Panel and Driving Light Switch last week and it showed up yesterday afternoon. I got my switch wired up and it actually works, but the button sticks in the housing every now and then... I bought all of this just to be able to turn off the DRL LED on the AlphaRex LUXX Headlights.
IMG_20220130_180636449.jpg

This is where the other end of the switch connects too. My grey power source wire coming from the fuse box, going to the switch and then coming back out and going to the other end of the grey wire, which is going to the DRL itself, if that makes sense?
IMG_20220130_180605174.jpg

This panel is piss poor and the fitment is plum awful...

I will be replacing it with the STEDI Australia one soon...
ford-fascia-s-2.jpg

After dinner, I "fixed" my other ball joint bolt.
IMG_20220130_195839888.jpg

And I found out where the suspension was "bottoming" out!
IMG_20220130_195901901.jpg

It's like this on both sides of the truck.... The bolt "hole" is because of the ball joint bolts being too long, but I've taken care of those from the previous pic. Luckily, there's nothing in the way on the top side of these marks, well, there is stuff up there, but it's a few inches away from making contact. I'm wondering if I can use something like this and mount it to the top of the wheel well, where the damage is at?

While I was under the truck, I removed the horns and took the covers off. Another member said this made the horns louder, but I haven't tested it yet
IMG_20220130_204428679.jpg

Lastly, I did the fender/hood gap adjustment. Hood fender gap adjustment. thread here.

The only side that was out of whack was the drivers side. I loosened the 3 bolts under the hood and removed the plastic tree that was holding the headlight to the fender and the fender naturally popped out to where it looked like it should be, so I left it there, after 15 minutes or so of adjusting it. It just "looked" like the passengers side, so I left it alone.

Passengers side (OEM):

I need to find some Shadow Black touch-up paint and paint around the bolts now?

Oh, this little grey man, in a weird outfit, photo-bombed me, while I was taking pics of the fender/hood adjustment.

Oh, another thing before bed. Torrie emailed me back today and said that the 93 tune would net me 50/100 more @ the wheels! He said with my mods and tune, that should be accurate? I need to find an honest dyno shop around here and see what it'll do sometime?

That means that it'll be 279whp/364wtq, once I use pump 93! That seems pretty damn good for a little 4 cylinder truck :D

Been fairly happy with this faux Carbon Fiber, until I installed these today:
IMG_20220201_153442488.jpg

Pic looks like a better fit that it actually is... Piece cut out for around lock button is really bad and covers up part of the "lock" part of the switch. At least it does match the rest of the faux CF bits...

Well, a lot of crap has happened in a weeks' time. I had major oil catch can issues last week, filling up the 3oz container within 2 weeks or 100+/- miles of driving!

After lots of research, I've discovered that in colder weather with humidity, this coffee creamer color will happen and most of the liquid was actually condensation! I checked the can again Monday afternoon and there wasn't much in it:

I cleaned this out thoroughly Monday afternoon and put the can back on. This time, it felt like the can tightened up another 2-3 more turns that previously! I've driven about 60 miles this week and just checked it a little while ago and this is what was in it today:

I still have no clue what was wrong with it initially, unless it wasn't bottomed out tight? It was tight though...

Anyway, I contacted Mishimoto about this and got shit for an answer... They replied, but didn't have an answer that made any sense...

I think contacted UPR Products to ask them some questions. Steve Bussius called me and asked me to email him everything that had happened, with pics. I did and over the last week, we've been working together on an issue for late 2021-2022 Rangers, where the upper, fresh air PCV hose has changed location, from the 2019-early 2021 trucks. This is my OEM PCV upper valve cover (fresh air) hose end plugs in at and goes back towards the firewall, then downward to the crankcase connection:

And this is what my PCV Hose looks like:

Also, there's a Vapor Pressure Sensor connector missing, on the top, front of my valve cover, that's clearly on the earlier Rangers. Here's what I'm talking about in this pic from their video:

Video link: UPR Billet Catch Can Kit for Ford Ranger EcoBoost!

And here's what mine looks like:

So, I'm hoping I'll be receiving his "new" kit for my truck next week! This Mishimoto can isn't worth keeping, but if someone wants, it, let me know, but it'll be missing the lower hose, as I'm not attempting to remove that thing again!
So are you saying that if the truck does not utilize the type pcv system you have,we do not need the dual valve catch can??
I went to the video and the website and was not clear to me.
Also I read that this (Dual valve) system is only for specific year models. Tried to download their PDF but the links do not work. Also not sure why they do not list the 2021-22 models.

I'm not sure, what you mean by, "if the truck does not utilize the type pcv system you have,we do not need the dual valve catch can??" I'm not 100% sure any of us need a catch can, honestly. 5-Star told me it was necessary, but I've heard/read otherwise...

They all have a PCV and I do know, that if your truck was built in late '21, the PCV hose/routing changed. Mine was built in September and my stepfathers was built in October, our hoses are the same. All '22's are like our.

I assume you're talking about the video I linked the other day? Are you saying UPR doesn't list '21-'22 catch cans anymore?

I talked to Steve at UPR all last week and after seeing mine, they're going to do some changes on the system, maybe that's why those years don't show up?

I've Also heard that in the winter/colder months, even for us in the far South, that all of what you see in my can is condensation, mixed with a little, fuel vapors and some other crap... In the Summer/hotter months, it'll look more like oil and not coffee creamer.

But, I've been checking it every 1-3 days now. Last weekend, it barely had any coffee creamer in it. Monday, it had about 1/2 ounce of pure water/condensation in it. I have, since installing the catch can, installed that valve cover breather and that may be helping. I'll look at the catch can contents today and see what's in there to surprise me today, LOL!

I'm not sure I answered anything for you?

I had 2 catch cans on my previous car builds and nothing was ever in either one of them, so this new stuff still boggles my mind...

I've gone about 70 miles on Torrie's (Unleashed) tune and the mileage has greatly improved over the 5-Star tune! I'm averaging 16.1 mpg, driving in sport mode (auto shifting) all 70ish miles! Much happier with Torrie's tune! Should've listened to @Doc to begin with....

I wrote out a price list of everything I've installed, but haven't added it up yet, (unsure if I want too, LOL!), since October, but haven't had time to convert it to a spreadsheet.

I did give the truck another bath today, after 3 days of rain/cold weather, the tailgate and doors looked so awful before the bath... :(

I should get to install some bump stops in the wheel-wells sometime this week, to hopefully help with the upper control arms making contact with the wheel-wells' metal.... I'm thinking about buying Belltechs' new Upper Control Arms, but keeping my Viking Adjustable Coilovers...

Also, I should have the new STEDI dash piece this week, so I can remove that damn Lightforce part...

My Black ST emblems should be here soon too. I hope they'll fit like I want them too?

We're planning on taking it on a 50 car Rally, in North Carolina, in a couple of months. This is just a shot of some of the cars that attend these rallies.

I haven't done much in the past week, but I did remove that damn oil catch can last Tuesday night, after seeing it full of oil that afternoon! It had nothing in it 3 days earlier and full 3oz of oil, 10-15 miles or 3 days later and I said that's enough of this crap!

I broke one of my connectors on the stock PCV hose, so I just bought a 1/2" brass 90 and tied the two hoses together, circled in red here:
IMG_20220208_165622136.jpg

Nothing's leaking and no check engine light, so I'm just going to leave it be for now!

I also received my STEDI switch panel thingy and had to rewire my wiring/new switch.

I wired it up, per the directions, but when the DRL's are on, the blue indicator LED light doesn't come on, but it's no problem, I fixed it.
IMG_20220208_165710116.jpg

My wife found this sticker for my Miata, but since I've sold it, I decided the Ranger was good enough to wear it!
IMG_20220207_201358178.jpg

I also painted the bare metal areas, when I moved out my fender.
IMG_20220208_165536605.jpg

I also received my ST emblems from the UK. I ordered a large and small one. The large one is almost too large... I put in on my tailgate and relocated my EcoBeast emblem. What do yall think, keep or remove?
IMG_20220207_204020999.jpg

I made a little aluminum bracket for the front emblem.
IMG_20220208_164735390.jpg

IMG_20220208_165248386.jpg

And mounted it right here in the grille, but it really does look out of place, doesn't it?

And I cleaned it again, LOL!

All week, I've been building a new PC and here's a pic of it running, but it's not completely finished yet.
IMG_20220212_162621374.jpg

And today, I finally got a pic of it, away from the backyard!
IMG_20220212_085330037_HDR.jpg

I'd like to end by saying Torrie's tune is 100+% better than 5-Star's! Once I told them the issues I was having, they never tried to resolve anything, they just quit emailing me.... I've gone 100+ miles on Torrie's tune with a little over 1/4 tank of fuel, that I only got 50ish miles with, same amount of fuel, but with 5-Star's mess...

Thank you! I thought it looked out of place. There's not much of anywhere to put an emblem up front...

I also think the rear ST emblem is too large? I was hoping it would look better...

It’s hard to tell from that picture of your tailgate because your ranger is so shiny, it looks like wires or something around some of the Ranger letters. May be easier to tell with another picture farther away from the truck.

Those are my air compressor lines in the garage, LOL! I removed the raised tailgate letters and ST emblem earlier, as well as the new ecobeast badge. I finally received my mini "Raptor SVT" badge this week. It may be 4-5" long? It's identical to the F150 badge, just in a smaller scale and it's actually metal!

I'll be removing the "ST" in the grille too, because I'm just not happy with that one at all.... And then, I'll change the Splash screen back to the Raptor intro!

I also removed my Vent Visors, due to being hard to clean around them and they just do not look good on this version of the Ranger...

I love your ride, but I wonder why you would put “Raptor” logo on a Ranger? I like the Raptor font and even have a file that I’m getting turned into stickers for the truck that says ranger, in the Raptor font… but I personally think putting Raptor on your Ranger is tacky. I see about 20 Raptors a day and I couldn’t imagine putting that badge on my truck, I would be clowned. Just a thought. If you want a great ride to be proud of, be proud of the Ranger… or buy a Raptor. Two different vehicles. Just my two cents. Your Ranger kicks ass. But it ain’t no Raptor.
Because it looks like a little baby Raptor and it's not a big ass Raptor emblem..., it's small as I said... It already says Ranger on the tailgate, I don't need a big ass sticker on the bedside, that says Ranger...

I'll never understand why people get upset because they don't like one thing or the other... It's also not a f*ckin ST, but people are putting ST badges all over their Rangers with nothing being said... This is a Ranger Raptor, the US just doesn't have it yet...

It's like my Miata wasn't a Mazdaspeed, but I cloned it into one and nobody gave me flack about it... Then, I put a Honda engine in it and nobody complained about it either....

I appreciate the comment about mine, but I don't tell yall what to do or not to do to or say you should do this and not do this, to yalls trucks... It's a small Black emblem, just like my EcoBeast emblem that I'm going to put on my truck to make people look twice and think about it...
