  1. Ford Performance Air Oil Separator Installed

Again, this is not where the ford one goes.
  2. Ford Performance Air Oil Separator Installed

I think the confusion is that the catch can that's installed at the front is the easy one and the lower one from the side of the block to the intake is the pain in the ass one. There are 2 different sides you can install one at. I have both and yes the lower one is a bigger pain as you do that...
  3. ( 33”+ Tires, poor mpg. ) What tune are you running on your Ranger?

Check my thread and I'm going to recommend gears. It can be done. Especially if you're going to step up to 35's.
  4. Increased gas mileage locking gears out.

My 2 cents, 3.73's are just too tall for the 10 speed. I just did 4.46 with 33's and it drives so much better even in 10th. All the low rpm lugging is gone.
  5. Front and rear gears

They obviously don't know what they're doing. I read it was welded up front as well and ordered a welded unit. As in my picture it was bolt on. Either way it looks like the welded unit is the only one available to purchase. So you swap the whole thing and that's how it's done. The part...
  6. Front and rear gears

I've been wanting this since I put the bigger tires on 4 years ago. Lol
  7. Front and rear gears

That's the only front your going to find and it's the welded ring gear version. I don't see a bolt on version anymore. So, yes it comes with the diff.
  8. Front and rear gears

Look again. I listed links for both install kits. The pictures you only looked at would be the part numbers for the gears to look for.
  9. Front and rear gears

I listed the install kits above. You only need the gears under the dana part numbers. Unless you want to pay more for their install kits.
  10. Front and rear gears

I looked it up under the dana part number 10130628. Here: https://www.jegs.com/i/Dana-Spicer/094/10130628/10002/-1
  11. Front and rear gears

I found the ford racing gears listed for the ELD bronco for the rear and ordered the front open diff part from the dana site through jegs. Installation kits listed above.
  12. Front and rear gears

These are from Dana's site. It seems they may have removed some listing since I last looked? But I don't see the listing for the ELD front anymore on some ratios. You can still use the open welded version as I did. And choose your rear based on whether you have ELD or open. Availability of...
  13. Front and rear gears

You heard it here first. It's done! He forgot to take pictures of the front while it was apart. Going from 3.73 to 4.46 gears made a huge difference. All the high gear lugging is gone. In fact the instant MPG's shows higher like I expected. Crises at 70 mph so much easier than it did at 55...

  16. RCMUSTANG's Magnetic FX4

    And it's begun.
  17. RCMUSTANG's Magnetic FX4

So, install didn't happen. Might be next week. In the meantime, got this guy in. Decided wrinkle paint was more OEM looking so I sprayed it last night and dried it in an hour with my infrared heater. Not 100% exact fitment but I was able to get everything close enough to tighten down and...
  18. RCMUSTANG's Magnetic FX4

It took 5 months but it's finally here. Last part. Install should happen next weekend.
