I’ve gone to the ‘’Dark Side’’; traded in my ‘21 Ranger Tremor for a F-150 Powerboost Hybrid as I needed more towing capability.

Before I traded in my Ranger I pulled this aFe POWER Dynamic Air Scoop and aFe Magnum FLOW OE Replacement Air Filter w/Pro Guard 7 Media which I installed on June 23, 2023. I installed them in order to provide optimal air flow to the intake system. The scoop has a larger opening than stock OEM so should flow more air with more ease. The air filter is a truncated cone with 66% more surface area than stock OEM thus it too should flow more air. The filter media of the air filter is a combination of 5 layers of cotton gauze and 2 layers of synthetic material. For more information I suggest you go to aFe’s website. The air filter is a direct drop in replacement for the stock one-fits upside down in the air box.

Did this combination give me more HP or Torque? I can’t say. But the red scoop sure did look cool under the hood. And it is almost the same color as the Tremor’s red nostrils on the grille. Plus installation is super easy; basically Plug N Play.

The Scoop is in nearly new condition; all cleaned up and ready for installation. The air filter has been run for just under 13,000 miles and shows a bit of dirt capture however I don’t think it needs a cleaning at this time. You can get a cleaning solution & oiling solution combination pack from aFe when that time comes in the future- aFe part number 90-50500 which sells for $21.00

This sale also includes the aFe sticker you should attach to the exterior of the air box to advise others that the air filter is to be cleaned and not thrown out. It also includes the literature from aFe and some aFe decals too.

Price Drop & Shipping Company Change: new price is $80.00 for the performance combination and it looks like USPS Ground Advantage has the most reasonable shipping charges; Examples are $12.30 to Indiana and $20.05 all the way to California from here on the East Coast. But remember the aFe Dynamic Air Scoop is not CARB exempt although the Air Filter is.

I've sold and shipped my engine cover. And this combination pack is ready to be installed in someone elses Ranger feeding the engine massive amounts of nice, clean air while looking good too.
