I used tape but one kit wasn't enough for all four doors.

Otherwise I shoulda saved up for the bushwhacker ones

I have those. You can see them with the doors closed covering the rocker panels.
Thanks, i wish it wouldn't. Do you have any issues with doors closing like hitting it on bottom of door? Any chance you could snap picture(s)?

Ok, the bushwacker ones make sense to me.

But these others? What's the point?

Do you people actually step on the door sill? Or is this just a "cosmetic addition?"

its not that you step on it...or at least i dont.
but you always hit or drag your shoes or boots across them and scratch the paint
Ok that would make sense.

I had to teach the children years ago to "step into the vehicle" not "step on the vehicle."

No I don't step on sills. Doesn't make any sense to step on painted surface.

They do the same with their battery maintainer. CTEK sells for $80.00 on Amazon and the Ford one (which is a rebranded CTEK) sells for $110.00. The only reason I went with the Ford one was I needed to use up my Ford Pass points.

My wife and daughters notoriously tromp all over the door sills and I didn't want the paint to get all scratched up. So I got a couple rolls of XPEL universal door sill tape and applied it to the door sills back in May of 2020. So far still holding up strong and looks like I just applied it yesterday.
