Has anyone found/installed a tire mount for the bed? I'm not looking for the ADD style SDHQ vertical tire mount, as I only want to mount a single tire. Similar to the styles shown below...

Fabtech and many other companies make a universal mount. Search Prerunner spare tire carrier/mount on google to see the options that are out there. All will require drilling holes in the bed.

Thanks Jeff, I have seen many universal options. I was hoping I either missed some or someone on the forum has installed a good quality mount and could recommend the brand.

I ran this setup in my Raptor...

Yes, I will run with the spare in the bed. Almost all off-road events require the spare in the truck bed, it’s not allowed under the bed. I pull the spare out if I need to haul something. The chase rack in my Raptor was a quick release rack - pull the four locking pins and the whole rack could be removed.

So you race your Ranger?
The off-road events I’ve attended in the past aren’t races, they are organized off-road events. Track, trail, or open field, there’s no substitute for a tire in the bed. I can change a flat in roughly eight minutes.
