I didn't really want leather seats, but they came with the package we wanted. I need a little more protection from the dogs. Has anyone considered putting covers like this over leather? I wonder if it will trash the leather or not.

My first choice was saddle blanket, but I'm pretty sure the family will overrule that and these look to hold up better to dogs, especially wet dogs.

As long as it is meant to go over the seat like a custom ordered vs the universal you should be fine. Also something to consider is try to maintain the leather as best as you can. Griotes Garage has a nice leather treatment available at most auto parts stores. It works well and has a nice reasonable cost.

I have the CoverKing neoprene cover on my back seat, for baby purposes. The fit is excellent. I don’t know if neoprene is the right answer for dogs, I think their claws might dig it up. Consider a canvas type.
