A better question Is has anybody seen a problem with a Ranger. And I’m asking specifically about Ranger not everybody else’s horror stories.

I know what you’re saying but just wondering if I could use the crc every now and then for part of the maintenance?
I do change the oil less than 3000 miles, run top tier 91 octane gas

I think the general consensus is that these products work as a preventative maintenance, but if it’s been 60, 80, 100k miles, they’re not going to do much. Or they’re going to send a big chunk of carbon through the turbo’s turbine and cause bigger issues.

I actually tried the Berryman’s one on my Ranger last week after installing the Ford Air/Oil Separator. No issues during or after doing it. Didn’t even set the check engine light, but I did have a couple of misfire codes pending when I checked afterward. My truck is a 2020 with only 22,500 miles, though.
