Is it just me, or does everyone getting out of the Ranger slam the doors? Are they too light? Am I too sensitive to this dilemma? I thought about adding some Sound Deadening to the doors for sound, but also to make them a bit heavier. Im gonna strangle my kid if she slams my door again!!!!!

Obviously you are just too muscular for your truck still.
Addition of the Tailgate Damper will fix that for you over time.
Contact @AzScorpion for details and ordering instructions ;)

Yeah these doors are very light. I never noticed until the other day. I went to open the door on my dads escape and it was a very noticeable difference compared to the ranger. I was like wait what the

Wife constantly slams the door so I help her in and close it how it should be. When she gets out it often slams shut.:punch:
My girlfriend does the same and it drives me crazy and it's even worse if the window is open. She's like 5' nothing and you'd think she was a WWE star the way she slams everything from the truck door to the refrigerator.

But apparently NOT your tailgate, or she'd be losing the muscle tone in those arms...

Yelled at my wife and 13 year old grandson for doing this all weekend. Feel like an ass, and was thinking I am just being too sensitive. Maybe it is the doors that are making them do it.

Looks like she has some knucks that would take your head off though, better keep her happy and get some dampers for your doors too!!

Yep, same here. I close it just fine but every so often I slam it and cringe. My wife slams the doors EVERY TIME. she's not trying to at all. I went to the dealer for a recall and checked out the new '20s, and they do it too. Just how the door checks/weight/latch is set up I guess. I have a tailgate dampener, maybe all the work on my 80lb tailgate for the '87 made me immune?
