Thanks! I still like them a lot! Only got to use them in a little bit of snow but they were fine and the wet performance is great. I lost a little bit of mileage but also attribute some of that to leveling the front end.
I’m thinking of going with the Coopers as well. No level here. Just curious, what’s “ a little bit of mileage”? 😂 And did you notice any loss in power due to increasing tire weight?

With bigger tires you can definitely see a decrease by 2 MPG easily. Thankfully the 10 Speed and the turbocharger help a bit with that. As for power loss, it depends. With a tune I didn't notice much difference even when going to 32's from 30's.

You should expect “everything” to take some kind of a hit - mpg, acceleration, and braking. A cup of coffee costs most people more per day than the extra gas needed. The only thing with a positive increase is your smile. That’s gotta be worth something, right?

About 1.5 mpg. As far as power loss, I didn't notice any but I do have the Ford Performance Tune.

I'm shocked by the weight difference in the tire selections. I can speak confidently, after many weeks of offroad trips in Utah, Nevada, Oregon and Washington, the quality and durability of the Firestone Destination tire. Mine is the XT in C load (255/75/17). It is notably lighter than KO2s and other contenders. It is also a newer design. If your offroad use is occasional, I'd not choose the more aggressive XT like I have but the AT2, a mild/moderate All Terrain tire. Do not underestimate tire weight on performance. MPGs, range, acceleration and braking all suffer the heavier the tire.

As one that is currently on their 4th set of the Destination XT, I can agree that they are nice! I'm currently running a 265/70-18 on my 2012 Frontier. To say the least I am happy with it.

What load range are you running on the newest set?

All but one have been Load Range E and it hasn't bothered me. Why you ask? Because if you compare them to a similar tire like the K02 in the same size and load range, the Destination XT is going to be lighter

thanks! I know we spoke about those tires previously, I’m 99% sure these will be my next set, whether on the ranger or something else.

My Destination XTs are C load, 255/75/17. If I would’ve bought them after my suspension lift, I would’ve gone 255/80/17, so 33” rather than 32.” I don’t feel the need for E load, personally.

Similar usage for me. Continental Terrain Contact AT. Never heard of the category but they are on road all terrains. They ride nice, very quiet and highly rated. I did lift the front 3/4".

Do you have a link to your Raptor grill? Thanks
