It’s just a truck. I’ll run it till it dies and buy another one. It’s always easy after that first scratch ?
My bed is scratched to hell and back. I'll get a spray in eventually. The rest. I'm trying to keep pretty.

The rocker switch between the lights should be in the middle position to work with the door switches. The right position of the rocker switch should shut the interior lights off. That is all that I can think of. After trying the rocker switch, you may have to wait a little bit to allow the lights to fade off.
I second this. I had that issue for a bit, and it turns out that the rocker switch wasn't quite aligned with the middle; I probably hit it by accident at some point, and didn't realize it.

Whereabouts in the NC mountains are you?

it didn’t come with a liner? I thought they sprayed all of them at the factory.

I had a maverick on order. My hyundai lost compression on number 2. I found an XLT and got it for the price of the maverick. The dealer never had a chance to wash it before the sale, did that the next day. Factory didn't spray it in either. That said, at the time of the maverick order it would have delayed it another 4 to 6 months.

Got a bit lucky to get what I got for 28k at the time.of extreme covid dumb. I do have a drop in liner in it but not a spray in yet.

I had a bit of .. what should I have bought?!?!?. Then I got to park next to one at work almost daily.

+ the tune with the 10spd RWD

full frame

and yeah. I am good with what I ended up with for the 50 dollars less.

I think the only thing I lost was a mpg or so (that I gained back with the tune) and the mav probably handles a bit better.. but.. I got more truck for the money.

Don’t check the oil level.
I already know its got a little gas in It. Been working on trucks my whole life. Almost every ford on the market these days has a little gas in the oil. If the truck didn’t have a hundred and twelve gears and actually let the rpms get above 3k I believe most of the gas in oil problems with modern ford trucks would go away.

I agree with that. Every Toyota I owned was held together with rust and a little luck.
Yeah, I had many problems with the 09 Tacoma I had.
Frame rust was still an issue then as well.

Detroit Electronics strike again. At least they have been consistently bad for decades
