unless someone get elected to lower those goals to something more realisticIt looks like paying fines for not hitting the EPA's impossible MPG goals would have cost them less then jumping on the EV bandwagon. Of course if automakers go that route you can bet those fines will skyrocket and they'll do it all over again.

They jacked the prices up on the broncos. They would have shown a nice profit if not for the EV disaster. There was a $1500 increase right after I ordered mine then they jacked them up more an dropped the base model. Now a 2 door base is close to 40K an a 4 door is around 42K. That's a long way from the sub 30K introduction on a base 2 dr. Corporate may have seen all the clowns paying thousands over MSRP so they decided to take the cash instead of the dealers getting it.I just saw an add where Ford was reducing the MSRP of the Mach-E Mustang by $7500. That certainly will help the bottom line.
