i do believe i would have a chat with the fine folks that told you it would'nt rub, they are professionals they should know what they are talking about and evidently dont. just my 3 cents
Or you know, do the most obvious thing.... turn the wheel both ways to full crank and look. haha

I would too. They're the ones who told you BEFORE you bought the tires/wheels everything would fit. It doesn't do any good AFTER you already have them. It doesn't do you any good after you already have them because now it's obvious they don't fit.

There was a post I just read the other day which said even though the tires are the same size they were still rubbing where others who had different make tires were not.

That might have been me. I have 285/70/17 (33") Toyo OC AT2 on factory 17" wheels with a 2.5" lift and I had full clearance. Someone with my exact same setup might not have clearance on different brand of tire.

I had to remove my bars after adding 2" wheel spacers.

What lift do you have?

get an angle grinder with a 6 inch diablo cut off wheel, cuts through them like a hot knife through butter. if you want to keep your beams try the BDS ones. you can get them for $77
Link to the bds?

Bookmarked! I am interested in your pics and feedback! Wondering if you will need to completely remove the bumper to make the swap.
I’ve read that you only have to loosen it in certain areas to wriggle the factory crash bars out. I’m removing mine so I can modify my factory grille to fit in the lower grill opening (no ACC) but I will try the loosening method on one side just so I can pass along the knowledge.

I’ll post in my build thread with details and pics when I install these beams.
