I’m thinking about doing a lift/leveling kit if my Tremor ever arrives. There are a lot of options available. We’re starting to see a few guys that went with the Rough Country spacers. I’m anxious to hear everyone’s reviews. Installation has me curious too. Regardless of the kit, has anyone tried to remove the struts by lowering the lower control arms? It looks a lot easier and appears to remove the CV joint/ axle issue.

If you're going to go through the hassle of a leveling kit I would go with a replacement leveling strut like OME or a 5100, or a coilover like Fox or Eibach. I've done spacers on previous trucks and won't do it again. You get no real benefit other than the look whereas if you go with new suspension components you can get a better ride. It's basically the same amount of work either way but spacers are cheaper cost.

I’ve considered that option too. I was hoping the Fox struts on the Tremor were adjustable but apparently they are not.

The Tremor already has an outstanding Fox suspension set up. If they’re not adjustable, and your looking for a little more level, I’d go with a quality spacer . I used the Rough Country 2.5” kit, and Im very happy with it.

I have the RC 2.5" level kit and very happy with it too. I cant help you with the instal because I paid to have mine done. It was well worth the $273.00 which included the alignment.

Same here on the RC 2.5 spacer. Has a factory ride and levels the front end.

For those with the 2.5“ spacers, any reason why a 2” spacer isn‘t enough for a level? Measuring from the ground to the fender lip, my fronts are 37” and rears are 39”.

Did you do the install yourself?

No , i had a buddy who does suspension and alignments, do the work since it had to be aligned anyway.

What's the best way (right way) to level a tremor, new springs and shock? Figure I might as well stick with fox stuff.

So the kit does work on the tremor? It says in the description that it isnt compatible with the tremor package. I know you didnt do the install, but did the installer have to do anything to make it work that you know of?

Sorry I'm not sure if it does. When I posted this I only saw the title of the thread and not that it's for the Tremor.
