Thank you!! The build has stalled a bit since we moved to Montana but I’m hoping to get back to fabricating a custom snorkel and a bed camper for it.wow truck looks serious now! lots of transformation since i last looked in this thread.

I moved a lot of furniture this weekend so I quickly started designing a relocation for the filler neck. I’ve been slacking on that for quite a while. So I started working on a hidden compartment for the fuel filler. It will be going in front of the fender under the tray. Currently there isn’t a door on it but I think the next version will definitely have one or I will relocate it to the rear corner in the storage compartment. .
all I had to work with was 1/8” material. So it’s definitely over built. I may transform that area into an OBA compartment for the quick disconnect fittings.

Version 2 already in the works haha! These are the door compartments. I decided to go ahead and build the two compartments how I actually want them in the end. I will remake the base and add a door seal.
I’m also ordering material to start working on a 4” diameter snorkel. This one will take a little bit since the airbox parts are in SC and I’m in Montana. When I travel back to visit family at the end of May I’ll be shipping those parts out so I can do the snorkel and airbox at once.

Something along these lines for the snorkel design but I’ll need to adjust it a bit to fit with the Advanced Fiberglass fenders. I will do more of a mid entry vs the rear entry. I think it would look pretty cool seeing about half of the snorkel going along the hood.
