I received a transmission cooler this week. Other parts on the way - PTFE hose and PTFE AN-8 fittings of various bends will be here shortly. This project is going to be a tad more complex than most that I have done for a while. Targeting 150F - 160F fluid temps.

Still not sure which solution route I'm going to take, but I have a couple of ideas.

Will find out if I can reach that goal.

Be sure to document it for the rest of us.

Pieces are still dribbling in. Should have everything by the end of the first week of December. I've not built AN-8 PTFE hoses before and needed a few odd tools to insure success.

Once everything is here, I'll put the truck on the lift and start to sort the plan details. Once i'm comfortable with the feasibility of the hose routing, I'll start the installation. I'll even take the time to take a pictures.

Again, targeting 150F-160F temps. My transmission behaves flawlessly at those temps.

Those valve stems are neat, I could use something like that with mine even though I don't off-road much with it, I pull trailers more often and could use that for dropping from towing/hauling pressure back to unloaded pressure.

Got my yearly calendar from Mark @MXGOLF that Mark makes up every year. I was impressed by past years but man this one has some really beautiful pictures in it.. I'll be hanging it in Annie's office later today. Thanks again buddy and Merry Christmas!!

Is that for the block heater? I have a notice on the Ford Pass app.
Yep. It’s been on my app for a while too and online. Exact timing and remedy still not finalized but sometime in Q1 2026. I’m not looking forward to being without the Ranger while it’s being done.

Yup, that's what I saw. Shouldn't be more than a coolant drain and fill and replacing the block heater. Two hours tops unless they got chimps working in the service bay!! 😂
