We did some nice adventuring deep in the Superior National Forest today. Gone for about 7hrs, so it was a full day of off-roading (averaged about 25mpg over the whole trip too). This picture was taken at a remote lake, not sure of the name, there are so many around here. Not pictured was the many miles of rutted out roads, full of rocks, mud, and large undulations, overgrown from years of not being used. Also not pictured is the pleasure on our faces from a day well spent on the trail.
The fall colors were also already popping in some areas, so I have a feeling we'll be taking a similar trip in a few weeks once they really start to fill out.
