Water sloshing noise under dashboard

Yes sounds like air in heayer core. Quick check, is the ac dripping to the outside underneath the vehicle? Not a slow drip, but a good solid drip? Might check the ac drip line for water that it is not plugged slowing water going out.
But it does sound like air in the heater core. Do as suggested by others, test cap or just get a new one if they are cheap enough for your budget.

I've only had my Ranger (2020 model year/30,000 mi.) for a couple of months, but I hear the same thing when I first start it up. I haven't noticed anything else wrong with it though, other than harsh shifting which a dealer is going to check out in a couple of weeks.

I also hear same thing sometimes a startup but doesn’t last so I haven’t worried about it.
