  1. Atlas t case and superduty axles

This is legit my dream build, awesome work.
  2. 2025 4Runner Photos & Specs Revealed!

Looks sexy as hell but: Worse angles and like everything else got BIGGER. Why does everything have to get bigger??? We're at the limit of what I can fit down trails already.
  3. New metal bar work

Looks great! How are those sliders mounted? Bolt on or welded?
  4. Strange problem with 2019 infotainment system

Even if it's cranking normally now, it eventually won't. Battery is dying.
  5. I'll keep mine

I'm biased, but totally agree, I really think the 5g is a great looking truck. That said, friends tell me it looks "wonky" so may just be me that likes it. 😅
  6. Amazon Upper Control Arms?

Since Amazon intermixes inventory, it doesn't matter. You'll get a fake anyway.
  7. New Tacoma - Broke

Yeah, I was cracking up at those comments. If a little wheelspin offroading is "abusing" a truck my ranger has survived some pretty serious abuse. Seems a whole lotta truck buyers don't realize what their vehicles are designed to do.
  8. New Taco TRD vs Chebby Colorado ZR2 - Car & Driver

Not sure why their weight matters, the failure in the video seems pretty serious and during some very light offroading that should be no problem.
  9. NEW: Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac RT

The one consistent complaint I heard about the old duratracs was the weak sidewalls, so now that that's fixed I'm thinking they may be a pretty great tire. Also the AT4ws reduced some of the siping and went to a harder compound, both things that help towing/etc at the cost of grip (especially...
  10. NEW: Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac RT

Really debating between this and the new Wildpeak AT4w. Always heard good things about the Duratrac in snow, and this one has even more siping it looks like.
  11. My new (to me) '21 Ranger Tremor

My truck is a mirror image to yours, and if it's anything like mine you'll love it. Multiple long backcountry trips loaded down with gear under its belt, and it's been a delight. Only issue so far has been a failed axle seal early in life at ~7k, quickly fixed under warranty.
  12. New Michelin Tires

I've never run these on a truck, but ran these on a car and they were fantastic in all conditions.
  13. What happened to customer care and quality service?

What in the ... They cut a hole in the skid to access the drain plug? I cannot even comprehend the level of stupidity to do something like that, it's way more work than doing it right!
  14. What happened to customer care and quality service?

During my last oil change/tire rotation it looks like the tech just took the impact and drilled it on the face of my wheel for a solid second or two. The tops of the lug nuts are slightly rounded too, so he didn't bother to fully engage the impact before slamming the hell out of them. I didn't...
  15. Another Close Call

I used to ride my bike to work a lot but I've stopped. Literally *half* of the people I'd see at stop signs would be staring down at their phone, barely looking up when they accelerated from the stop. I *never* use my phone while driving, and honestly it disgusts me when I see anyone do it...
  16. New Tremor Owner Here

Beautiful truck! I can say from first hand experience it's a great choice for exploring backcountry Idaho! Agree with you on the full-size comment, a lot of Idaho trails you'll pinstripe a full-size but the Ranger can squeeze right through.
  17. The NEW Ford CSP warranty

Yeah, really confusing situation. I looked around and see a Ford CSP on ford's website that looks real, so maybe that's what you got? Seems there may be a real Ford CSP and a 3rd party "CSP" taking advantage of the confusion? I dunno, read the fine print very carefully...
  18. The NEW Ford CSP warranty

You got it exactly right, see what I posted above. Good on you for reading the fine print. :)
  19. The NEW Ford CSP warranty

Ford CSP is not a Ford product, sorry to say it's a direct mail service through a 3rd party company. Personally I would avoid it like the plague. https://www.lombardfordwarrantys.com/ford-csp.cfm
  20. 98k and cracked gasket, told I need new engine

There are a huge number of 10R80s out there, it's not a Ranger-only transmission, so yeah, if they were *all* failing before 100k we'd know.
